Ben has served many public and private clients providing advice in all aspects of technology transactions, from commercialisation to disputes.
Ben also holds a Bachelor of Science majoring in Computer Science.
Ben Lehman has a long and extensive history in the domain name industry in Australia, from disputes to acquisition and portfolio management. He has worked with companies such as
Google, Microsoft and Yahoo! on strategic domain name projects.
As external legal counsel to Melbourne IT Limited, and later General Counsel and Company Secretary, Ben has provided legal
advice on all aspects of the domain name industry, including the establishment and operation of the .biz registry, one of the most successful domain space alternatives to .com.
Ben's domain name acquisition project have included some of the largest (the most significant being a well recognised domain acquired for > USD $10 million) and recovered key domains through auDRP for large corporates.
